Boe Parrish is our Corporate Care Chaplain at Ace Transfer and Storage Co.. Our organization averages between 70 and 85 employees on payroll over the course of the year. Ace has truly flourished since adding Boe to our team. Sometimes when life hurts most it’s nice to have someone close by who can offer such support. Corporate Care was referred to me by the bank’s owner, who had been using Corporate Care in another one of his businesses for a lot of years already. Corporate Care offers a wonderful product for our employees. People are going through personal, financial, marital and health issues – things out of their control. We believed the company would be a service to our employees in helping them deal with those situations when they happen. The chaplain visits our company weekly and makes a point with visiting with every employee. After four years of being involved with CCI, it would be hard to imagine this company without its help. I wonder how we got along without that, I just don’t know how we could’ve coped with all the issues this past year without Corporate Care.

CCI has been a valuable resource to our company, providing compassionate, expert and always appropriate advice and counsel, whether it’s a family matter, financial issue, illness or death, or just needing someone to share a concern, in a completely confidential and non-judgmental manner. The chaplain always has a positive attitude and has been key in helping our employees meet the ever increasing challenge of maintaining an appropriate work/life balance. As a result, EPBS has been named one of Oklahoma’s “Best Places to Work” for the past two years. Simply put, we couldn’t have achieved such recognition without CCI.

Over all of my years I have watched ALL of my employees deal with very difficult life issues. No matter how hard any of us try, life always bears down on us. Life hurts. Life hurts a lot. The chaplain’s touch, presence and availability have quickly become the very best benefit Ace could ever provide for our employees. The results are there when they are needed most, they are often life changing, and they are lasting in their impact. They’re eternal. The chaplain is a true gift to our organization!
